Our Global client in the tech industry is seeking an  External Communications Manager

Position: External Communications Manager
Location: Remote in CA
Contract duration: 6 months
Pay Range: $88-103 on hourly basis

 
Project Overview:
As an External Communications Associate, you drive measurable outcomes for an external communications program and ensure the development of long-term strategic plans that match its overarching business goals.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:  
Drive the creation of high-quality external content pipelines, including blog posts, social media
updates, talking points, and media briefing materials.
Partner with engineering, product, and cross-functional leadership to discover, shape, and scale
impactful stories around AI.
Proactively manage and cultivate strategic relationships with key AI reporters, tech journalists,
and industry influencers.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or in lieu of a degree, an
additional 5+ years of relevant work experience).
At least 7+ years of direct professional work experience in technology communications.
Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and autonomous driving technology
topics.

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced tech startup environment
Familiarity with the AV industry and surrounding regulations
