Senior Solution Architect
As a Senior Solution Architect (Presales) at Starburst Data, you will play a crucial role in driving customer projects to closure by owning the technical aspects of the sales cycle. You will collaborate closely with sales representatives to grow and retain accounts, shape prospect evaluation requirements, and act as the primary customer-facing technical resource during technology evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical aspects of the sales cycle.
- Shape prospect evaluation requirements and define success criteria.
- Conduct customer proof of concept studies.
- Design and build demos, presentations, and custom integrations.
- Act as a consultant on architecture, deployment, and design discussions.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Support teams on critical customer issues.
- Develop field best practices and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in ANSI SQL, UNIX/Linux CLI, and Data Warehouse concepts.
- Experience with Private/Public Cloud Deployments and Big Data Technologies.
- Strong presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to travel (25%) for team and customer engagements.
