Senior Instructional Designer

Seeking a Senior Instructional Designer with 7+ years of experience in corporate learning to design effective learning journeys and solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in adult learning, instructional design, needs assessment, and performance consulting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design learning journeys, e-learning, blended learning, and enterprise learning solutions.
• Conduct needs assessments and identify appropriate learning interventions based on business and learner requirements.
• Apply ADDIE and instructional design methodologies across Analysis, Design, and Development phases.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective learning strategies.
• Facilitate discussions, workshops, and learning design sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Manage multiple learning projects from intake through implementation.
• Apply Learning Experience Design (LXD) principles to improve learner engagement and training effectiveness.
• Modernize learning content and apply strong visual design and innovative learning approaches.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Instructional Design experience in a corporate learning environment.
• Deep knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, ADDIE, and performance consulting.
• Strong learning solution design and needs assessment capabilities.
• Experience developing e-learning and blended learning programs.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, presentation, and consulting skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Learning Experience Design (LXD) methodologies.
• Experience designing learning journeys and enterprise-wide development programs.
• Background in sales enablement, operational training, or safety-focused learning.
• Strong visual design and content modernization skills.
• Experience improving learner engagement and training effectiveness through innovative learning solutions.
