PL/SQL Developer

Virtual Vocations Inc

To support ongoing projects, the contract-to-hire PL/SQL Developer will develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure database environments adhere to best practices while working remotely from Virginia. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL solutions, including functions, procedures, triggers, and packages Participate in production implementations and collaborate with production support to ensure smooth transitions of system changes Create and maintain automation and data-processing scripts, and troubleshoot database and application performance issues Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science/management information systems or four additional years of relevant experience A minimum of six years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer Strong expertise in Oracle performance tuning and in-depth knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Ability to create, modify, and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
