Non-Salaried Foreman - Shipping Supervisor

Description/Job Summary

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Schedule:  7:00a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, overtime and call-outs, as needed, including weekends.

Job Summary:  Oversee all operations and employees in Co-Products Division, which includes frequent inspections of equipment and facilities to insure that process, maintenance and housekeeping guidelines and the documentation of same are current and within customer and/or corporate specifications. Supervisor will also assist in the hire and training of staff to ensure safe and efficient operations. Supervisor should be capable and willing to operate all co-products equipment when adequate staffing is not otherwise available.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be possess basic math skills.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must possess good communications skills.
• Must possess good computer skills.
• Must be willing to climb up to 100 feet.
• Must be willing to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by Supervisor.
