POSITION PURPOSEMember Services Representatives (MSR’s) play a vital role and are the face of the Credit Union. At Centricity Credit Union, your job is to make a positive impact on members and non-members by answering questions accurately and completing a wide variety of transactions which will meet their needs. Helping members is the front and center of what we do. If you are eager to learn, being a part of a team, love working with people and most importantly like to have fun, this is the job for you!_______________________________________________________________________________________________________POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESRepresent the credit union to members and non-members in a courteous and professional mannerProcesses member’s transactions timely and accuratelyBalances at the end of the day with little to no errorsResearch teller errors when identified, respond and communicate appropriatelyKnowledge of Credit Union Products and ServicesConsistently seek out opportunities to exceed members expectationsIdentify sales opportunities to deepen member relationships by building rapport, uncovering needs, offeringrecommendations and submitting referrals to other departments of the Credit UnionAdhere to Centricity Credit Unions Policies and ProceduresSupport Centricity Credit Unions commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion by demonstrating the ability to work with a diverse range of individuals of all ages and backgroundsMaintain member confidentialityOther duties as assignedPERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTSPersonal and department goals are consistently met or exceeded.Management is appropriately informed of area activities.Workflows and assignments are completed in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.Excellent communication skills used with members and staff members.Ensure responses to member or staff member questions are timely.Attendance at professional growth training.QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification:High school graduate or equivalentExperience Preferred:Teller experience preferred but not required.A minimum of 6 months customer service and cash handling experienceRequired Skills/Abilities:Excellent interpersonal and personal skillsAnalytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentWell organized with attention to detailAbility to learn new and use existing technology to increase accuracy and efficienciesAbility to change teaching techniques based on learnerAbility to pass a background checkPHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITIONTalking: Clear, concise speech is necessary.
