Responsibilities The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This is a PRN Day Shift position. Qualifications Education Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy In lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience, and one of the following certifications within 12 months of hire: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) Licensure/Certification/Registration American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications: FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification Any of the above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields BLS required ACLS required #J-18808-Ljbffr UF Health
