Corporate/Employment Counsel - Remote We are working with a well-established, national corporate & business law firm based in NYC that is seeking an experienced Employment/General Counsel to join the firm! Location: Remote (must live in CA, NY, or NJ) Base Salary Range: $150k-$180k/year + bonuses A bit about us: The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and discretionary annual bonuses! Job details: The ideal candidate would have experience assisting companies with navigating both corporate transactional law & employment law matters: Execute a finance transaction, whether convertible note, SAFE, or preferred financing, including all the governance that is related; Advise on multi state employment law matters, specifically, incentive plans, executive bonus plans, commission and draw plans, employment separations in NY and CA, Draft corporate resolutions and consents; Draft, review, and close an operating agreement or post-formation Corporate documents, i.e., bylaws, stock grants, etc. Exposure to any transactions in the fashion, beauty, music, film, other media spaces, that is a bonus! Requirements: J.D. with strong academic performance and membership in good standing with the NY, CA and/or NJ bar. 4+ years of direct experience with employment law & corporate transactional law Experienced with CA, NY, and/or NJ employment law Jobot
