Logistics Warehouse Associate

Lone Star Logistics LLC

Job Description

Unload cargo from incoming trucks by hand or by using equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack, or by using a forklift.
Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received, knowing when to either refuse or accept with notation & verify that proper labels are attached to identify freight.
Sort cargo received by store or account and stage in the proper warehouse staging location.
Load outbound delivery trucks with all freight for the trucks route and ensure space is maximized.
Monitor various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc.
Palletize and pack freight for outbound transit to its final destination
Re-weigh freight utilizing a floor scale
Dimensionalize all freight to verify dimensions are accurate.
Frequently move or lift products within the warehouse ( to 75lbs).
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members & managers.
