Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT Tech is responsible for performing computed tomography imaging procedures in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The role requires collaboration with medical staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT scans and X-ray procedures adhering to established protocols.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment such as GE Revo Maxima, GE Def Tempo, and GE AMX Navigate.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Maintain detailed documentation in the Meditech EMR system.
• Respond to call shifts and provide imaging support during emergencies.
• Follow unit policies and safety guidelines to ensure compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 1 year of recent CT imaging experience.
• ARRT (R) certified in Computed Tomography or equivalent credential.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
• Prior experience in emergency or free-standing ED preferred.
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR system is a plus.
