Global Technician - Intern

Becton Dickinson seeks an intern technician to support process improvements and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, robotics, and programmable logic controllers in a manufacturing environment. The role involves troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Support process improvement initiatives in mechanical, electrical systems, and vision systems
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, robotics, pneumatics, motors, and servo systems
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Maintain and repair programmable logic controllers and subsystems
• Maintain and repair robotic systems

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Currently pursuing Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field
• Basic electrical knowledge and skills
• Basic computer knowledge and skills
• Communication skills
