Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Deliver high-quality support in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after cardiac cath and EP procedures.
• Assist clinicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including device insertions and ablations.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as GE X-ray and Claris hemodynamic systems.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies, safety protocols, and EMR documentation standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver seamless patient care.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and post-procedure care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP environments.
• Demonstrate EP and CVT experience, with ability to monitor and scrub procedures.
• Preferred: Cath Lab experience and proficiency with GE X-ray and hemodynamic systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting with excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter with a team-oriented attitude and adaptability.
