Job Details Full-time, 40 hours per week in office position Support the Budget, Policy, and Gaming Compliance team Salary up to $60,000 based on education and experience Responsibilities Reviews and assess agency budget work programs for constitutional and statutory compliance, technical accuracy, and agency budget explanations. Analyzes, approves, and posts agency budgets and budget revisions in the state system of record, establishing expenditure limits. Tracks, monitors, and analyzes legislation to identify critical fiscal and policy implications for assigned agencies Consolidates, analyzes, and reports agency budget requests. Creates agency reports for inclusion in the Governor's Executive Budget Book. Facilitates and responds to executive, public, and legislative information requests. Identifies quality proposals for improving the cost-efficiency or cost-effectiveness of state programs. Assists with training peers and agency financial staff. * Denotes Essential Function Physical Demands and Work Environment This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Some travel may be required.
