Make Your Mark at Prysmian Group - Join UsPosition SummaryThe Process Engineering Manager is responsible for planning and directing the activities of the manufacturing engineering support team for the purpose of improvement of productivity, quality, capacity expansion, and for the industrialization of new products and new materials into the existing manufacturing footprint. The Process Engineering Manager will have direct supervision and development of process engineers and process technicians.Team Overview and Job ResponsibilitiesUtilize project management techniques to accurately forecast, manage, and coordinate project budget schedulesLead continuous improvement activities to achieve the annual plan of manufacturing efficiency projectsLead and enforce the culture of safety, health and environment in their work team and daily tasksRecruit, develop and guide resources to improve total performance and productivityEffectively manage multiple, complex tasks and deal easily with pressure on a day in and day out basisPrepare and update annually the capital plan to support the business plan and manage capital project execution within budget and timelineDevelop and maintain process standards, procedures and specifications to ensure consistent product qualityProvide structured continuous improvement framework aligned with Prysmian Lean Tools and Problem-Solving culture Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering7-10 years of process improvement management in manufacturing3-5 years management of engineering resourcesResults driven individual who has demonstrated ability creating and working in a high-performance manufacturing environmentExcellent team and leadership skills - as team member, trainer, and developerProven success in project managementAbility to motivate, communicate and drive continuous improvement implementationGood understanding of business principles and practices and ability to create financial solutions with a bottom-line resultCoordination with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Logistics to support plant goalsPrior experience with extrusion or injection molding would be beneficialWork Environment / Physical Demands70% of time will be spent walking and standing on concrete production floor, along with occasional use of stairs.Regular interaction with all direct reports across 4 rotating 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 operation-----------------------------------------Job Offer Fraud AlertWe take the security of our candidates seriously.
