Ardmore dental office is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support general dentistry procedures under the direction of the lead dentist. The schedule is Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. X-ray certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during general dentistry procedures.
- Prepare patients for treatment and support patient communication.
- Perform dental radiography.
- Set up and break down operatories.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
- Manage dental supplies.
- Report to and collaborate with the lead dentist.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental radiography certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in dental assisting.
- Dental assisting certificate or diploma.
- Experience with dental radiography and chairside assisting.
- Experience with instrument sterilization and infection control.
- Strong patient communication skills.
