Job Title: Dock Assembler/Shipping Clerk
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Dock Assembler/Shipping Clerks to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced, industrial environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential. You will be part of a small team responsible for receiving and preparing orders for production.
Responsibilities
Receive shipments of foam and wood products.
Match orders with work orders for production.
Prepare products for assembly with a team of 4-5 people.
Perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately.
Unload trucks and handle packages of various sizes.
Essential Skills
Attention to detail.
Ability to use air-powered staple guns and utility knives.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
Stable work history.
Capability to work on your feet for most of the day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Carpentry or upholstery experience.
Prior foam manufacturing experience.
Experience with vinyl materials or production.
Industrial sewing skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Material handling experience.

Work Environment
The facility is predominantly climate-controlled, with a casual dress code allowing jeans and shorts. The plant maintains a clean and organized space with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration. You will work a standard 40-hour week with optional the person available, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. This is a dynamic setting with several departments, including Sewing, Assembly, Shipping, Receiving, Quality, and Engineering.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westerville, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
