THERAPIST (LICENSED) PRN

Responsibilities Provide individual and group therapy to patients. Intervene in crises as needed. Conduct psychosocial assessments. Develop and implement treatment plans. Facilitate family sessions. Qualifications Education: Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work related field. Experience: Minimum of one year in a mental health field; experience in direct care, family and group therapy, crisis intervention, clinical assessment, and treatment planning. Licensure: Texas license in Social Work or clinical related mental health field (LPC-Intern, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LCDC, etc.). Additional Requirements: Handle with Care training completed within 90 days of employment. Competencies administered within 90 days of hire and annually. Work flexible hours, overtime for hourly staff, some holidays and weekends. TB Test and CPR certification completed prior to working with patients. Knowledge of CMS, TJC, TAC, OSHA, state and federal regulatory requirements, and hospital policies.
