Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

A healthcare professional opportunity is available in a school setting located in Muncie, Indiana. The role is a contract PRN position offering flexibility and the chance to support student health needs during the current semester, with potential for renewal through the 2026–2027 school year. This position involves providing essential nursing coverage when the primary Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is absent, ensuring continuous care for students. Responsibilities Deliver nursing care aligned with established protocols to maintain a safe and healthy school environment. Provide 1:1 nursing support to an elementary student (LPN role). Support the district-wide student population with health needs (RN role). Administer medications, perform assessments, and document care accurately. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to coordinate care. Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide appropriate first aid. Qualifications Current, valid state license as an LPN/LVN or RN. Experience working in a school health environment preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
