Life Sciences Sales Executive

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher company, seeks a Life Sciences Sales Executive to drive revenue growth and market expansion in cancer diagnostics across an assigned territory. The role combines strategic account management, new business development, and customer relationship building within the life sciences and biotechnology sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive territory revenue growth and market share expansion
- Achieve annual sales objectives through funnel management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking in Salesforce
- Build relationships across biotech, pharmaceutical, CRO, and academic institutions to identify growth opportunities
- Communicate scientific and business value of Advanced Staining, Digital Pathology, and Core Histology solutions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to remove barriers and accelerate customer adoption and business growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 14+ years commercial or sales experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or biotechnology
- Demonstrated track record achieving revenue growth and new business development objectives
- Capital equipment sales experience required
- Strategic selling, contract negotiation, and key account management expertise
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel up to 60% domestically
Compensation: $125,000–$140,000 base; $195,000–$210,000 total target compensation including sales incentive
