Job Summary:   Responsible for assisting with beverage execution of various member dining areas and private events spaces. Dining areas include The Grill, The Bar, The 19th Hole, Men’s Lounge, Patio, Dining Room, Halfway House, Cabana, Paddle Hut and all Private Event spaces. Primary responsibility is accountability of member and guest experience and assuring a culture of hospitality and teamwork while providing a consistent beverage offering.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Responsible for Opening and Closing side work.

· Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

· Adheres to established bar setups and stocking levels, and daily maintenance of bar assignment.

· Takes initiative to ensure all necessary bar supplies are prepared for shift and communicates any needs with management.

· Responsible for future beverage preparation for all club needs.

· Greets members and guests and establishes a positive, professional rapport.

· Promotes a positive work environment and positive team atmosphere with all management and staff.

· Works in unison with other bartenders, servers, and management to provide excellent service.

· Procures beverages and cocktails to the standard of club recipes.

· Taking and fulfilling food and beverage orders using the POS system

· Ensures proper table maintenance during a la carte.

· Cross train in server and support positions

· Assists Food and Beverage Manager in completing monthly inventories for all products within the outlets.

· Stocking of weekly beverage orders

· Willingness to learn and adapt to HGC standards

· All other duties within your respective department as assigned by the Clubhouse Manager, Restaurant Manager and Banquet Manager

Minimum Education, Experience & Other Skills:

· A minimum of 1 year of bartending experience in the food and beverage industry is required.

· Must be of legal age to service alcoholic beverages.

· Ability to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally with others.

· Ability to prioritize, anticipate situations, and take quick action.

· Demonstrated commitment to customer service.

· Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements:

· Ability to lift at 25-100 pounds.

· While performing the duties of the job, the employee may be required to walk or stand for long periods of time.

· Must be able to bend, climb, balance, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl without hindrance.

· While performing this job, employees will be exposed to sunlight, heat, wet and/or humid conditions.

· Maintains a professional appearance appropriate to position and as per Club policy.

· Ability to climb on step stool or ladder to complete elements of the job or facilitate maintenance issues.

· Fine motor skills.

Certifications:

· Basset Certified

· Food Handler Certification

· Sexual Harassment
