Project Manager

Millwork Recruiting Source is leading the search for an experienced Project Manager on behalf of a growing commercial cabinetry and fixture manufacturer located in the greater Salt Lake City region. With over 20 years in business, the company specializes in commercial millwork, cabinetry, and fixture projects. Position Overview The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of commercial cabinetry and fixture projects from contract award through project closeout. This role owns project scope, schedule, coordination, client communication, and overall execution strategy. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, solutions-oriented, and experienced in managing commercial millwork or cabinetry projects without needing extensive training or oversight. Key Responsibilities Project Ownership Manage projects from award through installation and closeout Review contract documents, specifications, drawings, and schedules Lead project kickoff and turnover from estimating Establish project workflows and work orders within Innergy Maintain project timelines, milestones, and client expectations Client & Vendor Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, installers, and vendors Coordinate submittals, approvals, RFIs, and project communication Participate in preconstruction meetings and occasional onsite meetings Manage project schedules and proactively communicate updates or challenges Internal Coordination Coordinate closely with engineering, production, purchasing, installation, and accounting teams Ensure departments are working from current approved information Review purchasing takeoffs and materials for alignment with project scope Coordinate field measurements, deliveries, installation schedules, and closeout documentation Installation & Project Execution Coordinate internal and subcontracted installation teams Assist in scheduling deliveries and shipment coordination Monitor site readiness and installation timelines Support monthly billing reviews and project closeout documentation including warranties and manuals What This Role Is NOT The Project Manager is not responsible for: Engineering product construction methods Creating shop drawings or CNC programs Material takeoffs or sheet counts Determining how products are manufactured Managing drafting or production details Ideal Background 3–5+ years of Project Management experience within: Commercial millwork Architectural cabinetry Retail fixtures Commercial interiors Related construction environments Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and commercial project workflows Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience coordinating across engineering, production, and installation teams Proficiency with ERP/project management systems preferred Experience with Innergy is highly desirable Compensation & Benefits Salary range generally between $90,000–$110,000+ depending on experience Open to more senior-level Project Management experience Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Company vehicle provided for project-related travel Medical insurance: Employer pays 80% for employee coverage Employer pays 50% for spouse/family coverage 3% IRA match Life insurance Dental insurance available (25% employer-paid) Vision insurance available Paid holidays including Utah’s July 24th state holiday Vacation schedule negotiable based on experience Company vehicle Location & Travel Based in the greater Salt Lake City region Most projects are within approximately a one-hour radius Occasional travel to projects within roughly two hours Weekly onsite meetings may be required depending on project needs #J-18808-Ljbffr
