Job Description

Join our team to build and assemble crane and bucket attachments on diesel utility trucks with hydraulic lifts. These trucks are utilized by companies in various industries such as telecommunications, construction, and agriculture. Your main focus will be on assembling and building sub-assemblies for these trucks, ensuring their functionality through testing and servicing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build crane and bucket lift attachments on utility trucks.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and hydraulic components.
• Conduct light electrical troubleshooting using multimeters for voltage and grounding tests.
• Document completed work and prepare quotes for necessary repairs.
• Clean and service vehicles, including washing and cab cleaning, especially at the end of rental agreements.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a mechanic shop environment.
• Proficiency with hydraulic equipment and machinery related to trucks and service vehicles.
• Ability to perform assembling and installation of hydraulic mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting on vehicles, including circuit testing and multimeter usage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with diesel-style vehicles such as semi trucks, Peterbilt, Freight Liner, and heavy equipment machinery.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical components, body, chassis, and attachments.
• Ideal candidates have experience with diesel utility vehicles featuring overhead cranes and bucket lifts.

Work Environment

Day shift opportunity from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Experience a regulated and climate-controlled workspace with limited overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Temple, TX.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
