GoHealth Provider Opportunity

Starting Fall 2026. Bill rate $145 - $160 (facility has asked for this to be the rate range).

This GoHealth need is for the below counties. Providers should be flexible with where they work but know that GoHealth will work to make their schedules close. Counties: New Haven, Middlesex, New London, Windham, Toliland, Hartford and Litchfield.

Emphasis is weekend coverage but GoHealth will review candidates with weekday availability as well (Monday and Fridays particularly).

GoHealth wants providers to:

• be able to travel at least 45 minutes
• split their day between two locations
• be amenable to last-minute changes (within reason) in response to callouts
• We prefer local providers or at least not needing to obtain flights for their shifts.

• How many patients have they seen on an average 12/hr day? (not just stating what they're comfortable seeing but actual have a history of seeing)
• Provider Self Skills Rating (P-Proficient, VC-Very Comfortable, C-Comfortable, NT-Needs Training):
• Suturing / Wound Care / Incision & Draining:
• Last date performed:
• Splinting:
• Last date performed:
• X-Rays / EKGs:
• Last date performed:
• Drawing Blood:
• Last date performed:
• Working Independently:
• Last date performed:
• Pediatrics (all ages):
• Last date performed:

Credentialing/Verifications and Background Questions:

• Active state license(s):
• Have they ever been suspended, limited, or revoked?
• Provider Board Status:
• Active certs (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS):
• Active DEA and the state it's currently assigned:
• Any history of or restrictions for the following:
• Medical staff privileges/credentials
• Medical board actions
• Professional liability or malpractice claims
• Any actions that would show on the NPDB
• Anything that would need to be disclosed during the credentialing process or payer enrollment process
• Ever employed by GoHealth or the hospital system?

Availability, Logistics, and Interview Availability:

• How many shifts per month can the provider commit to:
• Of those, how many weekend shifts can they commit to:
• Are they willing to work holidays:
• What locations are they most interested in?
• Where will they be traveling from?
• What travel needs will they have (flight, rental, lodging, etc.)?
• What dates/times are they available for an interview over the next 2 weeks?
