REMOTE Salesforce Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Salesforce Developer to support one of their largest local clients. This is a contract role working closely with a lead Salesforce Developer who will serve as the technical architect. The lead will drive the overall solution design and stakeholder engagement, while this developer will focus on working through detailed requirements, translating them into actionable development tasks, and contributing to solution delivery. The developer may participate in some stakeholder discussions as needed to clarify requirements or validate technical approaches. Daily responsibilities include developing and customizing functionality within Salesforce-particularly Service Cloud-using Apex and Flows to meet the project's needs. The developer will need to implement integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange across platforms. The role involves reviewing requirements, translating them into technical designs, writing clean and maintainable code, and participating in Git based version control workflows and code reviews. In addition to coding, the developer will be responsible for thorough testing, validating functionality, and producing clear technical and business documentation

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience working within Salesforce Service Cloud applications
Apex development experience
Strong expertise in Flows
Experience with REST/SOAP Integrations
Git-based workflows experience
