EHS Manager

About the Role Skanska is searching for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for a project in San Jose. The manager will integrate environmental health and safety services into business practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role is project-based, overseeing EHS responsibilities and interacting with staff, superintendents, project managers, executives and regional EHS directors. Core Responsibilities Identify safety hazards and recommend appropriate controls Communicate safety information with employees at all levels in a construction environment Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations Provide written communication and reports Support the project team in maintaining a safe site Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in safety roles within construction OSHA 30 certification Strong written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Safety Management, Engineering, or equivalent; minimum 7 years prior relevant experience Salary and Benefits Salary: USD $137,250.00 to $178,500.00 per year.
