Job Responsibilities

• Create Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and formulate tailored therapy plans that assist them in reaching their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday living activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy techniques to encourage consistent progress at home
• Monitor and Record Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and adjust treatment strategies as required, ensuring patients remain on the right path

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certification Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
