Licensed Massage Therapist at Job Description We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our team at our busy, upscale boutique spa on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We are currently looking for a talented professional who is available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with opportunities for either full-time or part-time employment. Our spa has a loyal, well-established clientele and a warm, experienced team dedicated to providing exceptional service and creating a positive experience for every guest. We offer a professional, supportive environment where skilled therapists can build lasting client relationships and truly thrive. Our massage offerings include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, CBD, Prenatal, and Reflexology. We are particularly seeking a therapist who is confident and experienced in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage. Experience with additional modalities is highly valued and welcomed. Responsibilities Conduct thorough client consultations and assessments to understand individual needs, concerns, and physical conditions Perform customized massage treatments using a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote relaxation, relieve muscular tension, and support overall well-being Apply a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics to safely and effectively tailor each treatment Maintain a high standard of professionalism, client care, cleanliness, and service Create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every client Educate clients on appropriate self-care practices and the benefits of regular massage therapy Maintain accurate knowledge of services, protocols, and contraindications Stay current with industry developments, treatment techniques, and professional best practices Follow all applicable state and federal health, safety, and professional regulations Qualifications Valid New York State Massage Therapy License required Professional massage therapy experience required Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics Demonstrated proficiency in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong commitment to client care and professionalism Ability to establish rapport and develop lasting relationships with clients Reliable, punctual, and well-presented Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
