Senior Project ManagerAs a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects of varying size and complexity, following standardized project management processes. You will oversee all project related disciplines required for the successful and timely completion of the project. You will develop effective relationships with internal and external customers.What you'll do:Develops, finalizes and manages the timeline, budget, security plans and monitors the process for projectsManages the scope of projects to ensure they are completed in an accurate and timely manner according to the customer's and Company's requirementsPerforms actual to plan comparison on the project, identifies any deviation from the project baseline and requests timeline extensions and/or additional moniesEnsures projects are meeting internal quality control standards and that internal quality control reports are preparedMay assist in the hiring and training of staffProvides input to management regarding performance of project team membersManages customers' expectations with regard to projects and works with the customer to turn ideas into future business opportunitiesProvides input regarding project management processes and assists in preparing cost and technical proposalsPerforms miscellaneous duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience:Four-year degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business or related field, and/or equivalent training and/or experience5-7 years' experience managing projects using a formal project management methodologyPositions working on specific contracts may require U.S. CitizenshipBecause of the nature and immediacy of the work, the ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance is essentialCandidates for this position must reside in Anchorage, Alaska, Sonoma County, California, or San Bernardino County, California.Preferred Skills and Experience:PMP CertificationExperience with Healthcare/Medicare/MedicaidExperience managing software implementation projectsProficient with software tools such as: MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint etc$107,500 - $135,000 a yearWho We Are:Telligen is one of the most respected population health management organizations in the country.
