Job Title Commodities Handler Company Husker Ag, LLC Location Plainview, NE Job Description & Requirements A. JOB SUMMARY: Loads trucks and/or railcars with ethanol or bi-products of ethanol. Assists with loading/unloading other trucks and may complete grading of corn. Supports the mission of Husker Ag. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB (responsibilities or duties) Loads trucks and/or railcars with product (DDGS, ethanol, distiller’s syrup, wet cake) using meters or scales to assure accurate and timely delivery of product. Assists with unloading corn trucks or supply trucks as requested or needed. Understands and appreciates processes and operations throughout the plant, so that when help is needed in other areas of the plant, is able to provide it.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS

Completes other tasks assigned by Plant Manager, Production Managers, and Husker Marketing’s Logistics Manager. Assists where needed or requested. Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

a. Knowledge of or willingness to learn ethanol industry. b. Skill operating forklift, skid loader, pay loader and shuttle wagon. c. Ability to follow verbal or written instructions. d. Talents: Cooperation (team player). e. Attention to Detail. f. Safety Awareness. g. Courteous. h. Ability/Willingness to Learn. i. Tolerance for stress. j. Integrity.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

o Six (6) months of experience in loading and/or unloading mass quantities of product. o High school diploma or GED. o Equivalent years of experience and/or education. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (defined by Americans with Disabilities Act): PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS for Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Pulling: Medium Heavy: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 35 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Heavy: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
