Position Overview Join our expanding team as a skillful and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist , committed to delivering exceptional imaging care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound equipment, you will perform vital diagnostic procedures, work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, and bring reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure, keeping communication clear and compassionate
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee high-quality diagnostic images
- Expertly operate and maintain imaging apparatus, promptly reporting any issues
- Document procedures accurately and maintain precise patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous
- Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging and patient positioning techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to function both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced setting with a focus on patient-centered care
