Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant - 30 Miles North of Boston

A reputable 310-bed full-service, acute care hospital located 30 miles North of Boston is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its Emergency Department team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality emergency care across two campuses located just 10 minutes apart, while working in a supportive, collaborative environment. Position Highlights 0.85 FTE ( 34 clinical hours/week ) Mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts Rotating days, evenings, and overnights (schedules designed with clustered shifts where possible ) Shared Meditech EHR across both campuses for seamless coordination of care Provide direct emergency care to patients across all acuity levels Perform histories, physical exams, diagnostic interpretation, and procedures within APP scope Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, nurses, and consulting services Contribute to patient safety, throughput, and quality benchmarks Qualifications NCCPA Certification Minimum 1 year of active Emergency Department practice (post-training) Proficiency in common ED procedures (suturing, splinting, I&D, fracture management, etc.) Strong commitment to evidence-based care, teamwork, and patient-centered service Compensation & Benefits Generous compensation package, including base salary and incentives Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, retirement plans CME allowance and malpractice coverage with tail Paid time off and wellness support Opportunities for professional growth within an integrated emergency medicine system Community Located along the scenic Merrimack River about 35 miles north of Boston, this community offers a blend of suburban charm and urban convenience.
