About the Position

Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related role License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN or EFM Must-Have: Candidates must possess the following skills: BLS ACLS NRP AWHONN or EFM Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital experience in Labor & Delivery Description: Position available for a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The unit features 12 Labor & Delivery beds, 8 triage beds, and 11 antepartum beds. The night shift comprises 1 charge nurse, 11 registered nurses, and 1 technician. Patient ratios are approximately 1:2 in Labor & Delivery, 1:3-4 in triage, and 1:4 in antepartum. The unit utilizes centricity and GE monitors for patient care. Experience in Meditech is preferred. Typical procedures performed include vaginal and cesarean deliveries, dilation and curettage, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions. The ideal candidate is a team player and flexible. Travel experience and PACU experience are considered advantageous. Overall, this is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
