This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence.In the role of Senior Site Civil Engineer, we'll count on you to: Lead design and plan production for site civil engineering projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, paving, site utilities, and horizontal and vertical controlServe as Engineer of Record and technical lead for complex site development projects, applying advanced engineering judgment and expertise to develop innovative and practical solutionsPrepare, review, and oversee engineering plans, technical specifications, contract documents, cost estimates, and quantity calculationsLead permitting efforts and coordinate with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and jurisdictional authoritiesCoordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality projects that meet client objectivesPerform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and proceduresServe as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of greater scope and complexity as neededPlan and develop projects or design activities that have significant impact on major company programs as neededPlan, organize and supervise work of a medium to large staff of professionals and technicians as neededServe as a Project Manager on larger projects, although project management is not the sole focus of this positionMentor and develop junior engineers and design staff through technical guidance, quality reviews, training, and professional development supportConduct quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standardProvide engineering support during construction, including review of shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and site visitsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop project strategies and deliver integrated, client-focused solutionsTravel periodically within the region and nationally to support project pursuits, client meetings, site investigations, construction observations, and project execution activitiesPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications Advance understanding across the full spectrum of site civil design including site selection, due diligence, master planning, site design; including demolition plans, grading, drainage design, stormwater management, utility design, and civil detailsExperience with mission critical, water, healthcare, commercial, industrial, or federal site development projectsProficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as Hydraflow, PCSWMM, PondPack, HydroCAD, Bentley StormCAD, or similar softwareKnowledge of local, state, and federal permitting requirements and regulatory processesProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, including grading, drainage, utility, corridor, and earthwork designEstablished relationships with clients, agencies, and industry organizations within the regionExperience with Microsoft Office applications, Bluebeam Revu, Google communication products, and other document control platformsFamiliarity with emerging technologies and industry trends, including BIM, digital delivery, civil design automation, and artificial intelligence applications for engineering workflowsPrevious experience with an engineering consulting firm desired#LI-MV3QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree A minimum of 10 years design experience managing various civil/site design projects Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
