Driver CDL / Warehouse Associate

Job Title Driver CDL/Warehouse Associate Location Montgomery, NY 12549 Job Description As a Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently to various stores and warehouses. As a warehouse associate, you will stock trucks and prepare deliveries for other drivers, balancing time on the road with warehouse duties. Schedule 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday). 10‑hour shifts. Start times vary: 1st shift, 1:30 am‑6:00 am. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with procedures and conduct regular safety checks on equipment. Complete daily field service activities, including preparing customer invoices, truck logs, and maintenance records. Carry out duties as scheduled by Foreman and Supervisor. Coordinate with retail customers and receiving personnel; communicate needs to customer service. Participate in warehouse activities: truck unloading, stock counting, order processing, and organization. Perform order picking, palletizing, and loading/unloading of delivery trucks. Accurately assemble and load products on delivery trucks in a timely manner. Maintain accurate inventory and safety/quality checks to protect staff and products. Job‑Specific Requirements Must hold a CDL‑Class A license with at least one year of proven safe driving experience. Valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID required for service to a military base. Physical ability to lift, bend, carry, push, and pull in a fast‑paced environment. Capability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong adaptability to handle diverse responsibilities and additional duties. Preferred: direct store delivery (DSD) experience. Successfully pass drug test, MVR, background check, and FMCSA clearinghouse registration. What You’ll Need Follow schedule and dispatch instructions. Record, report, and return defective items per policy. Verify, inspect, and record deliveries and shipments. Apply safety and quality checks to protect coworkers and products. Use smartphone, ELD, and scanner for deliveries. Adapt to changing routes, working times, and weather conditions. Salary and Benefits Hourly wage: $30.05 (Driving) – $29.50 (Warehouse). Benefits include healthcare, retirement, and paid time off in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Eligibility requirements apply.
