Investigator Assistant

The Gumshoe Group is recruiting Investigative Assistants. Performs office and limited fieldwork in support of Private Investigators who are conducting administrative, civil, and/or criminal investigations for Public Safety agencies. All applicants must be self-motivated, capable of multitasking, have excellent communication skills, with good judgment, and possess excellent writing skills. Must be able to; Research, compile, report, and/or display information in support of Private Investigators Organize information, reports, and documents. To present written information clearly and in an organized and cogent manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management. Capable of multitasking and can juggle multiple assignments skillfully. Learn and apply investigative principles and techniques. Search and obtain copies of public records. Requirements Superior computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS 365. Excellent writing, telephone, and communication skills. Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. Possession of valid vehicle insurance. Some travel may be required. This may involve working outside of normal business hours.
