Tax Supervisor Opportunity

A well-established regional CPA and advisory firm in the Southeast Tennessee area is looking for a Tax Supervisor to manage a portfolio of business and individual clients. You'll review complex work, lead engagement teams, and act as a trusted advisor, with a defined path to Tax Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and fiduciary returns
• Managing engagement workflow, budgets, and deadlines
• Leading tax planning and projection work for closely held businesses and owners
• Researching complex tax issues and communicating recommendations to clients
• Representing clients in correspondence with taxing authorities
• Supervising, training, and mentoring staff and seniors
• Helping identify opportunities for additional services

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation a plus
• 5-7 years of progressive public accounting tax experience
• CPA or EA (required or near completion)
• Strong technical knowledge of pass-through and individual taxation
• Experience reviewing work and supervising others
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Base salary of $85,000 - $105,000, depending on experience
