IBN Hamido Seafood - Orland Park
Restaurant opens in Orland Park this November. We're hiring eight to ten line cooks to build the kitchen from scratch.
What you'll do: work a station — grill, fry or sauté — through service. Prep to spec, cook whole fish and shellfish to order, plate to standard, keep your station clean and stocked, follow food safety rules, and help close the kitchen down right.
What we're looking for: a year or more on a line, or serious prep experience and the drive to move up. Knife skills and a real sense of urgency. You show up on time, you communicate on the line, and you don't leave your station dirty for someone else. Whole fish experience is a plus but not required — we train. Most of the team will be learning this style together.
Pay is above the local average on purpose. We'd rather pay well and keep good cooks than run a revolving door. No downtown commute, free parking.
