Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) | 36 hours guaranteed for 3x12 schedule; 40 hours guaranteed for 8/10 schedule | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in the operating room within a short-term acute care, teaching facility setting
• Assist surgical teams during operative procedures, ensuring proper instrumentation and sterile techniqueFloat within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential rotation to sister facilities
• Complete all required pre-start and annual modules in a timely manner prior to assignment start
• Adhere to strict attendance and facility compliance policies throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of operating room surgical technologist experience
• Active BLS certification required
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no additions will be accepted after submission
• Must be available for on-call and weekend requirements as discussed during interview
• Pending licensure not accepted; must have active credentials at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NBSTSA or NCCT national certification strongly recommended
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital or acute care environment
