Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and reviews of medical histories

• Provide critical intraoperative support by preparing the surgical environment, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a surgical specialty

Certifications

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• Mandatory BLS and ACLS certification
• Hold or be eligible for state licensure as a Physician Assistant
