We are seeking a Business Relationship Analyst to join our IT team supporting the CST operating unit. In this role, you will partner with business leaders, IT teams, and external stakeholders to ensure technology solutions meet business needs and strategic goals. You will act as a liaison between the IT department and business functions, providing insights and translating business requirements into actionable IT solutions.

• Shape and execute IT strategies for the CST business, translating business priorities into a forward-looking technology roadmap aligned with enterprise direction.
• Serve as a trusted strategic partner and senior IT liaison to assigned Operating Units, Regions, and Functions, building a deep understanding of business objectives, operating models, and transformation priorities.
• Lead the joint prioritization of the IT portfolio, balancing business value, risk, regulatory requirements, technical feasibility, capacity, and investment constraints.
• Establish and communicate investment cases, expected benefits, and return-on-investment measures for major initiatives; monitor outcomes and adjust priorities as business needs evolve.
• Facilitate alignment among business and IT decision-makers, helping stakeholders make timely, transparent decisions across competing priorities and organizational boundaries.
• Orchestrate the delivery of IT products, platforms, services, and capabilities across the enterprise to enable business outcomes and reduce complexity, duplication, and operational risk.
• Drive end-to-end requirements discovery and analysis, converting complex business needs into clear capabilities, solution requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable success outcomes.
• Lead or influence cross-functional transformation initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring effective governance, execution discipline, stakeholder engagement, and realization of intended benefits.
• Proactively identify, connect, and resolve business and technology issues, dependencies, risks, and escalations; bring the right partners together to achieve durable solutions.
• Provide thought leadership and mentoring in business relationship management, business analysis, and technology decision-making, strengthening collaboration and capability across the IT organization.

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

• 7+ years of progressive experience in business relationship management, strategic business analysis, product or portfolio planning, or comparable IT advisory roles supporting enterprise transformation.
• Demonstrated experience translating business strategy into IT roadmaps, investment priorities, capabilities, and measurable business outcomes across multiple functions, Operating Units, or regions.
• Experience in the medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or another complex and highly regulated global industry.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, including business applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC); able to connect technology choices to business value.
• Proven experience leading or influencing complex, cross-functional IT initiatives and multi-workstream projects from strategy and planning through implementation and benefits realization.
• Experience with IT portfolio governance, demand management, prioritization, investment planning, resource or capacity management, and tracking of expected benefits.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level facilitation and the ability to translate complex technical, operational, and regulatory concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical, systems-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and build alignment without relying on formal authority.
• Working knowledge of applicable healthcare, medical-device, privacy, security, and quality regulations and standards, such as FDA requirements, HIPAA, and ISO 13485; able to translate them into practical technology and delivery considerations.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor others and improve business relationship management, business analysis, governance, and/or technology decision-making practices.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$118,400.00 - $177,600.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
