Family Medicine Physician opening - Altoona, IA Position Details
- Full-time, permanent outpatient Family Medicine position in Altoona, IA
- Established team of 3 physicians and 5 Advanced Practitioners
- Opportunity to practice in a growing, well-known clinic serving the community
- Full-time with dedicated administrative time and flexible scheduling
- 24/7 hospitalist program covers adult and pediatric inpatients
- Fully integrated EPIC EMR system for seamless care coordination Clinical Details
- Outpatient care with support from experienced clinical and non-clinical staff
- Autonomy to build and shape the practice according to physician preferences
- Collaborative work environment with cohesive physician and staff team
- Opportunity to improve patient outcomes and reduce hospital readmissions Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted Iowa medical license
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt) Compensation & Benefits
