Affordable Housing Campaign Support Staff

Join our ballot initiative campaign to collect thousands of signatures and support expanding affordable housing in Nashville. This ballot initiative will make a meaningful difference in our community. Our goal is to engage voters directly and get them to sign this citizen-led ballot initiative to support meaningful reform. Support staff will work in the office alongside a Validation Deputy Director to help monitor, review, and assess the quality of petition forms collected by canvass staff, in addition to managing the printing and office organization for forms. This position is managed by the Validation Deputy Director.

Locations: Nashville TN We are hiring immediately. All positions run through August 31st with possibilities for advancement afterwards. Shifts run from 4:00 - 8:30 PM on weekdays and weekends. Hours are flexible and can be adjusted with approval from the office Lead Director. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Validation Director with the scanning, naming, and uploading of petition forms to the quality control platform
• Review forms for quality control and suspicious information
• Report concerns to the QC director promptly
• Own the printing and in-office organization of all form filing systems
• Own the badge production and printing for all circulator staff
• Strictly follow the campaign's petition safety protocols
• Represent our organization and communicate with the public or client professionally and abide by state law

The Ideal Candidate Has:

• Moderate level of computer and internet literacy including the ability to navigate between multiple tabs in an internet browser and navigating basic computer functions.
• Comfortability navigating spreadsheets, including the use of filters to navigate between multiple datasets.
• A high degree of accuracy with note-taking
• The ability to scan documents and maintain an accurate and consistent organization strategy for files.

Pay: Pay is $19/hour. This is a part-time position at 25 hours/week. At the end of the campaign, there may be additional opportunities for advancement.
