Minimum Qualifications


• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program


• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy


• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required


• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist


• Experience operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment


• Experience positioning patients and ensuring proper immobilization during treatment


• Experience verifying treatment plans and dosage with an oncology team


• Experience documenting treatments and maintaining accurate patient records

Preferred Qualifications


• Experience in outpatient oncology settings


• Experience working in teaching hospital or accredited cancer center environments

Impacting Patient Care


As a radiation therapist, you will operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, accurately position patients, verify treatment plans and dosages with the oncology team, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and document treatments to maintain accurate patient records. Your role supports multidisciplinary oncology care and contributes to high-quality, patient-centered treatment delivery.
