Licensed Practical Nurse - PRN

Simpson is a not‑for‑profit family of senior‑care services located in Jenners Pond, West Grove, PA. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our assisted‑living and personal‑care team. Duties and Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician in accordance with Simpson’s medication administration policy. Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds. Document changes in residents’ health status and report any concerns to the AL/PC Administrator. Provide in‑dwelling catheter care occasionally when needed. Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed. Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents. Document all care provided and maintain accurate resident records. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other health‑care professionals. Adhere to all policies and procedures related to resident care and safety. Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining resident care plans as necessary. Participate in continuing education and training to maintain licensure and stay current with nursing practices through Relias on‑line training as required under PA Regulations on an annual basis. Qualifications High‑school diploma or equivalent (GED). Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse training program. Current Pennsylvania LPN license with no judgments or disciplinary actions. CPR, First Aid certifications; AED certification preferred. At least 1 year experience working as an LPN in long‑term care; experience in a memory care facility preferred but not required. Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures. Strong communication skills with residents, families, and health‑care providers. Ability to work as a team member and follow directions.
