Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in psychology from an accredited university
• Valid Texas license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or a Trainee Status Letter from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
• Strong assessment and report-writing skills
• Experience providing services to students across K-12 levels preferred
• Effective communicator and collaborator with diverse school teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and psychometric assessments for K-12 students to determine eligibility for special education
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Deliver counseling services and crisis intervention for students as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert recommendations to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations
