Position Insights We are looking for a passionate Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team of imaging specialists who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic tests, work alongside a committed team of healthcare professionals, and ease patient concerns with your timely and precise imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, ensuring clarity and compassion in your explanations
- Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic visuals
- Manage imaging equipment, performing routine maintenance and reporting any issues immediately
- Keep accurate records of procedures and maintain patient files within the electronic health system
- Stay abreast of new advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and effective patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships
- Adeptness in working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
