Support is accomplished in a variety of ways:Review of basic skills (practicing vital signs and health assessment)Assist students with Deliberate Practice (DP) including tracking student visitsHelp students with any skills needed (vital signs, BP, catheterization, injections, etc.)Help with set up and break down of simulation eventsAssist with keeping the Simulation & LRC maintainedRequirements: - Students in good academic standing; full-time enrolled College of Nursing studentAdditional Information: - Lab Assistant/Peer Mentors must supply two references from clinical faculty. Please upload these to your application.Physical Demands Summary: - Assist with lifting/moving full body sized mannequins in excess of 25 lbs, medical equipment, beds, tables, carts, audiovisual equipment.
