What You'll DoYou'll work alongside our Staff Occupational Therapist to deliver hands-on, meaningful care to residents — not just running through a checklist, but genuinely helping people regain independence.Provide direct resident treatment under the guidance of the OTBuild real relationships with residents, families, and the care team — you'll be the one communicating progress, goals, and discharge planningEducate residents and families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and fall preventionRecommend and help order equipment that gives residents back their independence — splints, assistive devices, grab bars, and moreHelp train Aides and provide in-services to fellow staff — your expertise shapes the whole teamTake part in Resident Care conferences and contribute to program development and quality initiativesWhat You BringAssociate degree from an accredited COTA programActive state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, in good standingComfort with documentation systems (Net Health, PointClickCare a plus)CPR certification (if required by your state licensure)A steady, compassionate presence — someone who can connect with residents, families, and colleagues alikeThe EnvironmentA low-to-moderate noise, team-oriented setting where your clinical judgment and hands-on care make a visible difference every day — whether you're helping someone stand independently for the first time in weeks, or fitting a resident for the equipment that gets them home.We are an equal opportunity employer.
