Business Analyst II – Guidewire PolicyCenter Location: Hybrid (Lake Mary, FL – Onsite Required) Compensation: $75K – $110K About the Opportunity We’re partnering with an organization seeking a Business Analyst II with strong Guidewire PolicyCenter experience to support system enhancements and business process improvements. This role is highly collaborative, serving as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT , ensuring that system changes are well-defined, properly documented, and successfully delivered through the full development lifecycle. What You’ll Do Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering Partner with business units to understand and document system change requests Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements Create and maintain: Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) Use cases and technical documentation Wireframes and system flow diagrams Serve as a subject matter expert for Guidewire PolicyCenter Analyze how business process changes impact system functionality Support configuration and implementation decisions for Guidewire solutions Systems Integration & Impact Analysis Evaluate integrations with internal and external systems Identify dependencies and collaborate with architects and developers on system design Ensure alignment between business processes and technical architecture SDLC Ownership & Delivery Guide initiatives through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Ensure requirements are clearly defined prior to development Support successful delivery, testing, and release of system changes Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support Act as liaison between business teams, development, QA, and support teams Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming) Use tools such as JIRA, Rally, or similar platforms to track work Testing & Production Support Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities Partner with QA to ensure test coverage and accuracy Assist in triaging production issues before escalation to development teams What We’re Looking For Must-Have Experience 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst 3+ years of experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter Strong experience creating: Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) Use cases and wireframes Deep understanding of Agile methodologies Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Rally, etc.) Familiarity with: HTML, XML SOAP APIs Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in insurance environments , particularly homeowners insurance Exposure to commercial property insurance is a plus Experience working across cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Why This Role Stands Out Hybrid flexibility with strong compensation range Opportunity to work directly with Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations High-impact role supporting enterprise system improvements Strong collaboration across business and IT teams Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
