Additional Perks & Benefits - Scroll down to bottom of this post to learn more Key Responsibilities: Provide direct oversight and support to clients/patients, ensuring their safety and well‑being throughout daily activities. Monitor vital signs and health indicators, determining when to upscale to medical intervention as necessary. Facilitate group education and structured activities, promoting engagement and recovery skills among clients/patients. Document and report any exceptional behaviors or areas of concern related to clients/patients. Assist clients/patients with personal care needs, including grooming, bathing, and dressing when required. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and monitor self‑administration of medications by clients. Participate as an active member of the treatment team, helping to identify clients’ strengths and needs. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including medication storage and documentation protocols. Provide transportation for clients/patients to appointments as needed. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as requested by supervisors. Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: High School education or equivalent and two (2) years of responsible employment. Experience in Human Services or a related field is preferred. For St. Louis County Programs: Bachelor’s Degree, or MAADC I or II. For Residential Care Facility (RCF): Become credentialed as a Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) and be Insulin Certified within the first ninety (90) days in position. Additional Qualifications: Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect checks. Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance. First Aid and CPR certification within three (3) months of beginning employment. Completion of mandatory training within the required time frame. Must be at least twenty‑one (21) years of age to operate a company‑owned vehicle. Physical Requirements: Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shifts. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
